There are different types of fun  entertainment around us. In today’s era even in between the grip of all the hustle ”entertainment” play a major role in elevating us from low spirited beings into high spirited. A person can be amused through different ways. Some get delighted in watching movies,others get entertained in sports, another section might feel pleasure in reading or any other sort of thing.

Fun entertainment has now evolved to be one of the most demanding sectors. As a human we need entertainment in between all the rushes of day to day life. It has a major role in shaping our behaviour and culture. Anything that creates a sort of pleasure or elation in our minds could be called entertainment.

5 TYPES OF  FUN ENTERTAINMENT

 Due to the innovation of science and technology our entertainment sector has broadened. We all crave for fun entertainment. There are different types of fun entertainment.From the cave painting, hunting and craft works of early human beings we have travelled a lot of distance to present. 

The list of elements of entertainment has now become innumerable. It has now turned to be an integral part of human life. At present  ” Live life to the fullest ” makes more sense. Yes … We have to enjoy each and every little moment  of our life. We all hate boredom and brooding over a moment. Humans consider amusement to be an effective medicine against boredom.

TYPE OF FUN ENTERTAINMENT ;STORYTELLING 

One of the earlier forms of type of fun entertainment was storytelling. We all loved bedtime stories which is an inevitable nostalgia of every human. The story that we heard had a greater impact on us. We tried to enact the various roles in the stories. We turned into Cinderella,Alice, Snow white, Red riding hood, superman and so on…  The storytelling was a sort of entertainment which opened a wide window to the skies of creativity.

TYPE OF FUN ENTERTAINMENT;MOVIES AND SOCIAL MEDIAS

The movie industry has now turned to be one of the most demanding and developing industries. Movies have a special power to amuse us. They come before us with a visual treat and a power pack of fun entertainment. We fall for the heroes,the mission of the protagonist  to kill the antagonist becomes our mission, we mould ourselves into different roles as if we get deeply involved in the movie.

. During the unexpected pandemic and lockdown we all became addicted to Netflix and many more social media. We watched several web series and movies to keep us entertaining and to mitigate the impact of pandemic on our lives.  

TYPE OF FUN  ENTERTAINMENT;READING BOOKS 

One of the most important type of fun entertainment is reading.Many find leisure in reading books.According to Ruskin Bond, books are the best companions in life. They are dependable friends. Their society makes us happier and wiser. However this does not apply to all books.

Bacon divides books into three groups.Evidently Bacon wants our time to be spent on books belonging to this last category. Reading books is, however, a pleasure which one can indulge quite alone. In fact, only in loneliness can a book be properly enjoyed!Books benefit us in many ways. First of all, they make us forget our cares and worries for the time being. Books are the windows to the world of knowledge. Along with new knowledge they bring deep joy too. In fact, any new knowledge is a very thrilling experience.

Another very interesting type of entertainment is sports and games.The most popular sport in our country is cricket. Indians have a special interest in cricket. IPL season is equivalent to a season of entertainment. We are not just constricted to cricket but there are several sports such as football, badminton, tennis and so on which entertains the people from all over the world. Watching sports and playing them in leisure is really healthy and productive. 

Now in this 21st century we are surrounded by a lot of mediums for entertainment. We should also concentrate on entertainment that could make  us productive and educative. Entertainments are mainly considered to be a reflection of our society. Let’s  try to turn entertainment into infotainment too.
